Ventilation
Proper ventilation is critical to one’s comfort and safety because it prevents air pollutants from affecting the health of the occupants. In addition, having proper airflow inside a home or establishment can remove any unwanted odors as well as maintain the health and safety of its dwellers.
Ventilation is the intentional introduction of ambient air into space and is mainly used to control indoor air quality by diluting and displacing indoor pollutants; it can also be used for purposes of thermal comfort or dehumidification.
Today most mechanical ventilation systems are equipped with heat recovery. Heat is recovered from the air to be removed from indoors and is used to heat the fresh air coming in as well as the outdoor air that is filtered clean.
